The New Orleans Spirits Competition is an international spirits judging, bringing wider recognition to fine beverages and spirits from top-flight producers across the globe. Presented by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, each spirit is tasted blind by a panel of industry experts, without identification, to ensure integrity and secrecy. The judging panels include preeminent industry professionals, including award-winning bartenders and distillers, decorated beverage writers and industry luminaries. Awards are presented during Tales of the Cocktail, the largest and most prestigious cocktail conference.

Cierto Tequila Named Best Extra Añejo at the 2024 New Orleans Spirits Competition
The Elevated Spirits Company is pleased to announce that Cierto Tequila received nine (9) medals, including the title of Best Extra Añejo, at the 2024 New Orleans Spirits Competition (NOSC), presented live at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans. “We’re thrilled to be honored at the spirits industry’s largest and most prestigious conference, in front of its top experts, connoisseurs, award-winning bartenders and tastemakers,” remarked Cierto Chief Growth Officer Jim Ruane. “What a testament to our Master Distillers’ dedication to crafting authentic, true tequila with zero additives.” With these new honors, Cierto has won nine hundred fifty-one (951) international medals and awards.
