Started in 2010, the New York International Spirits Competition was the first competition to be founded in the International Beverage Competition Series. Its trade-only blind judging panel is comprised of New York City’s many internationally recognized beverage professionals, such as sommeliers, beverage directors and buyers, whose knowledge of what consumers are seeking is drawn from the daily consumer feedback they receive in their lines of work.
Cierto Tequila Wins Seven Medals at the 2024 New York International Spirits Competition
The Elevated Spirits Company is pleased to announce that Cierto Tequila received seven (7) medals at the 2024 New York International Spirits Competition (NYISC) – including two (2) Double Gold medals and three (3) Gold medals. “Yet again, the world’s most distinguished palates have sent a clear signal that pure, natural True tequila with zero additives makes for an exceptional, world-class spirit,” remarks Jim Ruane, Cierto’s Chief Growth Officer. “We’re incredibly grateful for our Master Distillers, Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza, tequila pioneers whose dedication to their craft has made Cierto a Double Gold winner at NYISC for five consecutive years.” With these new honors, Cierto has won nine hundred thirty-four (934) international medals and awards.
